The 2017 Reading Charity Art Fair raised £10,500 for the Royal Berks Charity's  purchase of an advanced portable ultrasound scanner for the  breast screening clinic at the hospital.

The Art Fair will also be open to the public on:

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October - 10am to 5pm and Sunday 29th October - 10am to 4pm

Entry will cost £2 per head or £5 for a family.

Art for all, especially for Christmas

Looking for that perfect gift for Christmas? - or is it time for a change of view at home? - There is always space for a special picture, a piece of sculpture or some beautiful pottery.

We can provide the answer with a huge variety of artworks to suit every pocket and taste. From £25 to £1000 in oils, acrylic, watercolour and other mediums - representative and contemporary - large and small. Ceramics and sculptures to buy or commission. Whatever your decor we will have something to compliment it.

We will have hundreds of paintings on view together with a wide selection of ceramics sculpture. and handmade jewellery. So you have a good chance of finding just the right thing - and it will be by a local artist and at a realistic price.

The Art Café

The Art Café, run by the Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh, will provide a welcome break  from viewing the exhibition with a tasty choice of tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes.


Buying is strictly on a first come first served basis and purchased paintings will be clearly marked. You should please collect your painting after the exhibition and between 4.30 and 5pm. on Sunday 29th October. If this is impractical please consult a steward and it may be possible for you to take your purchase with you in exceptional circumstances. Prize winning entries will remain until the end of the exhibition.


The preferred method of payment is by cash. We can accept payment by credit or debit card, however, ANY payment by card incurs a bank charge to us of nearly 4%. We can't accept payment by cheque.
