Following the suggestion of exhibitors, we are increasing the
space for craft items and making the Art and Craft Fair an
aunnual event. It will again be held at the
Leighton Park School Oakview centre, a great venue with free
parking facilities and a large exhibition area with good natural
light and free parking.
In 2022 the money raised will go to FEEDING COMMUNITIES (Website)
and other charities supported by Rotary. Our previous 10
exhibitions have been a great success, raising over £50,000 for
charitable causes. See a video clip about FEEDING COMMUNITIES.
We are part of the Reading Cultural Partnership and hope to have
the support of Reading Borough Council to maintain this exhibition
as one of the Thames Valley's premier art exhibitions for both
professional and amateur artists.
The Inner Wheel Club of Reading Maiden Erlegh will
manage the ever-popular Art Café so you can look forward to some
first-class home-made cakes to go with your tea and
coffee.
We are also delighted that the Reading Guild of Artists is
continuing to support us and hope to attract more visitors,
sell more artworks and raise a greater sum to donate to local good
causes.
There are prize certificates and commendations to be won by
exhibitors whose work catches the eye of our expert judging panel.
Whether you are an artist or a visitor, we look forward to seeing
you in October 2022.
